It seemed like they were going to be connected but it turns out they are not. This is a genre I always read and it was really good.

Was slightly different but this could be because it is a trilogy. Also not many of books I read have 2 main stories on going at the same time. There were a few typos, which is to be expected, but they were easy to make out and understand. Definitely recommend this book to those who want to solve a mystery and are interested in the killer's point of view.

There are moments in which you just cannot put the book down because they discovered a new clue that is slowly leading them to their suspect.

It's a slow build, but the tension starts to build right at the end where the killer gets the last word. Oct 25, Ros McIntosh rated it really liked it. I have just finished the book, Let Dead Dogs Lie. As with any good book, I'm left wanting more. I enjoyed the book and the way the characters were developed. Again, I was left wanting to know more of their back story.

On occasions, I felt the detail was a little too much, the minor detail and now I can't even think of an example! I read Patricia Cornwall, Kathy Reich, etc and at times skip their finer detail - maybe it says something about me - I went to get to the chase.

I am someone who will stick with an author if I enjoy their style of writing so I will look out for the next two books. Dec 15, Kylee McCarthy rated it it was amazing. I received this copy from Voracious Readers Only in exchange for an honest review. Trigger warning for animal death I loved this story, it was captivating and i adored the characters, the animal death was sad but the way it was written kept me intensely invested in finding the buttholes that would do such a thing.

I adored the writing style. I appreciated the characters, and never felt like the characters were one sided I am definitely interested in reading more from the trilogy in the future! Sep 18, Talia C. I got a kindle copy of this book from Voracious Readers Only.

Of course, most families have their dark sides, and sometimes those dark sides are worth laughing at. Its good to see something so original coming out of Hollywood, with so many blockbusters to compete with, a little indie yarn is a welcome change.

There are, of course, a number of so-called "family groups" that will try and tell you that this film promotes lewd sex acts, drug use, infanticide, and an Elektra complex to boot, but as is often the case, anyone who says this and believes it to be true has probably been out of touch with reality for a little too long.

As it goes, the film is easy to watch, darkly funny, and yet remarkably fulfilling. I say its worth the rental fees, even if they did have to remove that Dandy Warhols song. Details Edit. Release date February 21, France.
